Our Town Student Work

Students around the country are involved in brownfield redevelopment through the Our Town program. Through a combination of classroom instruction and community-based research, students are compiling site histories and environmental assessments, and creating economic redevelopment plans to present to local leaders. This page provides examples of students' work you can view or download. (Note: Files are in Word or Powerpoint. Some file sizes are large.)


Examples of Site Histories

This site history report describes the contaminants on a former plating factory in the Midwest. (2MB Word file.)

Examples of Economic Redevelopment Plans
