Ypsilanti Public Schools (Ypsilanti, MI): The mission of the Ypsilanti Pubic Schools is to prepare all of our students to be positive, contributing members in a changing society. The district in partnership with the community will sustain a safe, caring, learning environment which focuses on quality and equity. This urban district serves over 4,500 students of diverse backgrounds in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Creative Change Educational Solutions is a non-profit organization providing curricula and programming on ecological economics, sustainable development, anti-discrimination, and the links among these. CCES collaborates with schools, universities, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies to serve educators, students, community groups, and the general public. Its mission is to provide innovative education that helps create a sustainable world: a healthy environment, a fair economy, and a just and equitable society.
Washtenaw County Dept of Environment & Infrastructure Services (DEIS) was the primary provider of environmental and environmental health protective services to Washtenaw County. DEIS sponsored sustainability education in Washtenaw County since 1998 as part of its vision to become a recognized leader in sustainable practices
University of Michigan School of Natural Resources & Environment is providing external evaluation of Project SUSTAIN. The School of Natural Resources and Environment is dedicated to the protection of the earth's resources and the achievement of a sustainable society.
